17 key European routes 

Originally started in Romania, Motorway now provides groupage services across 17 key European routes, offering highly flexible and cost-effective collection-on-wheels and delivery-on-wheels. By prioritizing direct and flexible routing, we streamline handling and shorten transit times. Additionally, we consolidate groupage cargo through strategically located hubs throughout Europe. For every transport order, we guarantee a customer-first approach.

Multimodal groupage hubs

Beyond traditional trucking, we drive efficient, sustainable multimodal transport. Three cross-dock hubs in Romania - Aiud, Bucharest and Constanța - serve as central nodal points for part loads. From these hubs, we consolidate and redistribute your groupage cargo across Eastern, Central and Western Europe. Aiud, centrally located in Romania, provides frequent rail connections all over Europe. Constanța is linked to Aiud by rail and connects via the Danube River to Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia and further upstream.

Gateway to and from Turkey

The Motorway groupage network also seamlessly connects Turkey with the European market. DP World's new RoRo terminal in Constanța offers a direct water connection to Karasu near Istanbul. This route is 50% faster, far more efficient and significantly more sustainable than land transport, where border crossings pose a major challenge. Within Turkey, we also operate our own consolidation hubs. After the RoRo crossing, cargo from Turkey bound for Europe is either transported directly by train or inland vessel to its final destination, regrouped at one of our Romanian hubs or delivered directly on wheels.
