Avnash Iyer brings over 32 years of expertise in the shipping and logistics industry. His career began as a merchant seafarer, where he held various roles for 12 years, ultimately rising to the rank of Master. Afterward, he transitioned into academia, teaching at maritime universities before joining DP World.

Throughout his tenure with DP World, Avnash has taken on several leadership roles, including heading DP World Logistics, where he successfully positioned the company as a leading service provider in the logistics sector. As CEO of DP World Mundra, he oversaw the full spectrum of services provided at the port. In his current role, Avnash is responsible for Ports and Terminals at Sokhna, as well as overseeing DP World's business operations in Egypt.

Avnash Iyer is a qualified Master Mariner and holds multiple accreditations from prestigious management institutes. He has also represented trade interests in various industry forums.
