Amir Sewilam is an accomplished People and Administration Director with extensive expertise in human resources, organizational transformation, and operational excellence across multiple industries. Currently, he is leading the People Transformation Plan for a global logistics provider in Egypt, focusing on HR integration, organizational redesign, and developing comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies.
With a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Cairo University and a Human Resources Management Diploma from the American University in Cairo, Amir has held key leadership roles throughout his career. Notably, as Head of Human Resources in Jeddah, he successfully implemented a cultural transformation plan, streamlined HR processes, and increased female representation in management.
In his previous role as Head of Human Capital for the Middle East and Africa, Amir developed a strategic plan spanning up to five years, enhanced talent reviews, and boosted employee engagement across nine countries. His achievements at Veolia Group included leading HR initiatives that improved employee performance, engagement, and diversity. Amir’s expertise is bolstered by certifications from institutions such as Wharton and Babson Business School, reflecting his commitment to fostering positive workplace cultures and driving organizational success.
