HOW WE CONSULT ON SAILGP’S LOGISTICS ROUTES

We prioritise carbon-neutral logistics, emphasizing low-carbon transport, route optimization and responsible packaging. We provide race-by-race carbon tracking and an annual sustainability report that details our annual reductions in emissions through collaboration with SailGP.

MOVING SAILGP EFFICIENTLY ACROSS THE RACING CALENDAR

SailGP’s logistics operation demands the fast, efficient and sustainable transportation and storage of the teams’ F50 catamarans across multiple continents. The F50s must be disassembled into carefully designed components that fit into custom containers tailored sea freight and courier services before being reconstructed at race locations on temporary pit lanes. In addition, essential supplies including team boats, broadcast equipment and racecourse infrastructure all require transportation across the season.

Powered by our global network of 115,000 employees in 78 different countries DP World is ideally placed to support the delivery of the SailGP calendar. Providing comprehensive end-to-end logistics for SailGP, tailored to each venue on the leagues’ annual event calendar, which includes iconic locations such as Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, New York and Geneva. DP World’s network of storage handling, trucking, rail, and barge transport capabilities will also be on hand to support the logistics operation.
