ABOUT PMAC

The 27th annual General Meeting of the Port Management Association of the Caribbean (PMAC) will be hosted physically in Suriname in joint collaboration with NV Havenbeheer Suriname. The Port Management Association of the Caribbean (PMAC) conducted its inaugural meeting in Antigua on June 26, 1998, having succeeded the Port Management Association of the Eastern Caribbean (PMAC) established on May 16, 1988.

The major objective of PMAC is to improve the proficiency of member ports and the quality of services provided to users, specifically through the facilitation of appropriate training. Moreover, amidst developments within the maritime industry, the Association strives to remain relevant by delivering critical services to members, which entail the sharing of experience, information, and ideas, as well as advocacy and representation at multilateral levels.

This year DP World Paramaribo will participate in the PMAC exhibition , which will be held from June 26th until June 28th at Royal Torarica & Resort.
