DP World Vancouver Tariff Update: New Container Truck Out-Gate Fee Structure
Date: 01/04/2025
Effective May 1, 2025, truck out-gate fees at DP World Vancouver will shift from SSLs to BCOs and others. Learn how this change boosts cost transparency.
New Tariff Notice: Changes to Container Truck Out-Gate Fees at DP World Vancouver
Starting May 1, 2025, DP World Vancouver will introduce a new billing structure for container truck out-gate fees. These charges, traditionally billed to Steamship Lines (SSLs), will now be directly invoiced to Beneficial Cargo Owners (BCOs), Consignees, Forwarders, Trucking Companies, or other assigned parties.
This change is designed to:
- Provide greater cost transparency
- Empower BCOs with more control over logistics decisions
- Streamline access to value-added services like expediting and transloading
To avoid delays, please ensure all fees are paid via the Cargoes Community System (CCS) prior to out-gating. Containers with unpaid fees will be placed on hold.
