Our new DP World intermodal terminal improves Romania's connectivity with key European and Asian trade hubs. Strategically located in an industrial heartland, Aiud offers direct access to rail connections across Europe and to China. This direct access will significantly improve the efficiency and reliability of trade routes, help Romanian companies overcome infrastructural barriers and boost growth in the region.
The terminal is designed to integrate with the electrified rail infrastructure, facilitating a reduction in CO2 emissions and transportation costs by transitioning from road to rail transport.
