Furthermore, we aim to inspire and engage the youth by providing them with equitable access to education, skills for the future, and exposure to the maritime industry through internships.

To this end, DP World Limassol has signed agreements with two local universities, Frederick University and the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK) offering full scholarships, as well as paid internship opportunities to students.

Both agreements also cover the joint organisation of scientific conferences and seminars, collaboration on research projects and areas of common interest, exposure to the maritime industry through work experience and sponsored field trips to renowned international maritime organizations.

Over the past few years, DP World Limassol has provided internships to students from both universities who are pursuing a degree in shipping or related fields, with a number of them being offered permanent positions.
